Overview

3D Modeling and Asset Integration:
    • Designed and modeled the entire island environment using Blender, integrating diverse assets and props to create a cohesive and immersive gameplay experience.
World Object Interaction:
    • Implemented animations for various interactive objects within the game world to enhance realism and interactivity, such as doors, traps, and environmental hazards.
    • Developed a sophisticated door opening system with area detection using Unity’s scripting capabilities, ensuring smooth player interaction and dynamic environmental responses.
NavMesh Preparation for Zombie AI:
    • Set up NavMesh navigation for zombie AI to navigate the island terrain intelligently, optimizing pathfinding and ensuring realistic zombie behaviors in varying environmental conditions.
Weapon Collection, Ammo Management, Enemy Damage, and Player Health:
    • Implemented systems for weapon pickups scattered across the island, managed ammo supplies, and programmed damage mechanics for enemies, as well as maintaining the player’s health status throughout the game.
Level Design and Puzzle Integration:
    • Designed intricate levels and integrated puzzles that dynamically evolve with enemy zombie waves, offering strategic challenges and opportunities for player progression and survival.
Sound Design and Integration:
      • Integrated sound effects and background music to enhance immersion and atmosphere, utilizing Unity’s audio features and scripting to synchronize audio cues with gameplay events.
